The Tiddly Proms at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens

The Tiddly Proms, an exciting new evening festival of exceptional Jazz, Big Band and Classical Music comes to Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens on 13 and 14 September 2019. 

Musical highlights on the main stage include Proms standards and a unique live performance of 'Charlie Parker with Strings' from Bernardi Orchestra Group, Jazz from Ducie Jazz, Swing from  Harry's Tricks, Rat Pack covers from The Tom Fitzpatrick Band - plus live beam back from 'The Last Night of the Proms’ on a giant outdoor LED screen. 

Each night there’s a spectacular pyro-musical firework finale presented by Illusion Fireworks  - British Fireworks Champions 2018. Perfectly timed fireworks that are selected to reinforce the emotions conveyed in music, it will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end! 

Boutique Shopping Courtyard

Visitors can browse a Boutique Shopping Courtyard of glorious wine, artisan spirits, craft beers, cocktails, delicious global cuisine, art, fashion & lifestyle. 

Sample red, white and sparkling wine from Leonardslee’s own label and from boutique South African winery Benguela Cove Lagoon. Enjoy a gin and tonic crafted by Cabin Pressure Spirits or Silent Pool Distillers, real ale from Harvey’s, the unique Binary Botanical brew (tastes like a cross between beer and prosecco!) or a cocktail from the extraordinary Container Mixology Bar. 

Your tastebuds will be tantalised by food from India, Italy, Mongolia, The Americas, Egypt, Vietnam and beyond. 

Explore the Grade I Listed Gardens

There’s an opportunity to explore 240 acres of Grade I Listed gardens, parkland, lawns and forest areas during the afternoon. The ‘Finest Woodland Gardens in England’ are famed for outstanding displays of flora and fauna and the beautiful ornamental rock garden. Spot a rare colony of wallabies, peacocks and a number of species of deer. And don’t forget to visit the ‘Beyond the Doll’s House’ Exhibition - a magical world in miniature depicting the Edwardian estate and neighbouring villages at 1:12 scale. 

Festival-goers are invited to dress for the occasion; Black Tie, Cocktail attire, patriotic Red, White & Blue or something less formal - the choice is yours. 


VIP ticket-holders have access to grandstand seating and a beautiful VIP Tent, wine tasting masterclasses and all-day access to Leonardslee including the option of an exquisite Afternoon Tea at a discounted rate.
