With the addition of vines to Leonardslee Gardens in 2018 guests can enjoy wine tasting experiences from the family wine estate in South Africa. Their award winning wines can be sampled 7 days a week, with wine & chocolate and wine & cheese pairings also available
The gardens are set in a tranquil valley, at the foot, a small stream flows into a series of seven lakes which play host to the gardens abundant wildlife whilst reflecting the spectacular display of colours that surround them.
THE ROCK GARDEN
It is one of the most beautiful areas of the garden in the Spring. As you enter through the gate the mosaic of colours surrounds you, Japanese Azalea’s contrast with the shapes of palms and conifers for a truly unique view.
THE DOLLS HOUSE
Created in 1/12th scale this extensive exhibition has captivated visitors young and old. Showcasing a variety of scenes from a country estate in the 1900s it was designed and built with a real sense of fun!
THE WALLABIES & WILDLIFE
Wildlife flourishes at Leonardslee, wallabies have lived semi-wild in parts of the valley since 1889, these eco friend-ly mowing machines are thriving, keep an eye out for the rare white wallaby!
Whilst you explore, catch glimpses of deer, squirrels and rabbits roaming the grounds, or the many ducks and geese down by the lakes. The ponds contain a colony of Carp fish which bask just under the surface on sunny days.
The19th-century Italianate style house overlooks the valley garden, offering a stunning setting for private events. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
THE CAFÉ & FARM SHOP
Leonardslee Gardens café serves a tempting selection of homemade sandwiches, scones and cakes.
The gift shop sells a variety of local products as well as home cured meats and other foodie produce.
