The experience starts at 10 am, and advanced booking is required. Upon arrival, guests are taken to the Leonardslee Mansion House, for a Tutored Wine Tasting of five of our estate wines. Our wines are imported from our sister estate in South Africa, Benguela Cove Wine Estate.

This is followed by an informative tour of England's first Pinotage vineyard. During the vineyard tour, guests find out first hand why we have chosen to be part of the English wine growing revolution. Learn all about the cultivars planted, the viticulture and the vine-to-bottle process, which will culminate in an award-winning Sussex Sparkling wine.

Next up, is a traditional Sabrage demonstration, where guests can perfect the technique of opening a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne with a Sabre. This is a very dramatic and entertaining trick to master. Guests receive a complimentary bottle of Benguela Cove Cuvee58.

Then it will be time for Afternoon Tea: a sumptuous event served in the grand drawing room. With the finest selection of food, teas, and sparkling wine. Whilst, a self-playing piano in the Atrium, to keep guests entertained.

What better activity after tea, than to take a wander down into the spectacular Grade I Listed, Leonardslee Gardens? The displays of Rhododendrons, Camellias, and Azaleas are a magnificent sight to behold, and the gardens are stunning throughout the year.

This whole experience will last approximately 6 hours. Booking is required.
