Festive Watercolour Brush Lettering Workshop

Get into the festive spirit with a relaxed session creating your own Christmas crackers, greeting cards and gift tags.
Join us for a relaxing afternoon at the Courtyard Café where you will be taken through a 2-hour Watercolour Brush Lettering session by Helen Wallace.
We will start with learning the essentials of this lettering style with brush strokes, practicing letters, words and Christmas quotes and phrases using aqua brushes and watercolour paint.
We will also learn how to create loose Christmas florals, blend colours, create washes and ombre effects to compliments your beautiful lettering.

About Helen Wallace
Helen is a hand lettering artist based in West Sussex, she works in a variety of styles using watercolour, ink, brush pens, paint brushes and nibs. Helen developed a love for type when designing her wedding stationery back in 2017 and calligraphy quickly became her favourite pastime, evolving into a passion that she wanted to share with others.
Shortly after getting married, Helen set up her own design studio Wallace Lettering, where she now designs custom lettering for corporate brands, bespoke wedding stationery, greeting card designs, signage & chalk boards. She loves hosting workshops, a great social way to introduce more people to this wonderful and versatile lettering world. It's also a great mindful way of switching off, relaxing and relieving stress.
