Learn the fundamental knots of Macramé; an ancient art of knotting cords into beautifully textured wall-hangings.
Make a gorgeous wall hanging with Sólveig and you will be amazed at the creativity you can unleash.
Take home a finished piece to hang on the wall, as well as resources and a print-out guide of the knots used. This is a fun, hands-on, in-depth workshop where you will be making lots of knots and cutting and brushing cords.

About Sólveig Avina
Sólveig Avina is a skilled Macramé maker and teacher with extensive experience in the craft. Based in London and West Sussex, she has conducted numerous workshops, both to the public and for small intimate groups. Sólveig is also a keen speaker and demonstrator of Macramé trends and projects, hosting live discussions on her Instagram account with other makers and creatives. You can find her stunning Macramé creations showcased on her Instagram, as well as at various markets and pop-up shops.
Sólveig is also passionate about giving back to her community, having volunteered her time and resources to teach after-school and lunchtime Macramé clubs at her children's primary and secondary schools. With her wealth of knowledge and expertise, Sólveig is a true inspiration to anyone looking to delve into the art of Macramé.
