Botanical Pottery Workshop
12 September & 14 November | 11:00 - 13:00
Get ready for a fun-filled and imaginative experience where you'll create four unique and personalised pottery pieces from charming coasters and decorative tiles to beautiful hanging ornaments. You’ll use an inspiring mix of fresh and dried flowers, textured fabrics, and letter stamps to make each piece truly your own.
Guided by the talented Sarah, you’ll also learn how to craft your very own trinket dish. Once your creations are complete, Sarah will share her signature painting techniques, and you’ll have the chance to paint a pre-fired trinket dish she’s prepared just for you giving you a head start on mastering the decorating process.
Whether you're a seasoned maker or a complete beginner, this workshop is the perfect blend of creativity, relaxation, and hands-on fun. Don't miss it!
After the workshop, Sarah will take away your pottery, dry it, fire it and glaze it, to your colour specification. You'll then be able to collect your finished pottery from Leonardslee approximately 3 weeks later.

About Sarah
Sarah is a ceramicist based in Brighton (studio in Hove) and has been working with clay for over 30 years.
Training at Nottingham University, with a degree in Decorative arts, Sarah specialised in pottery after working with various mediums and has continued to make her own pottery since. Sarah currently works in Junior schools in Brighton running after school clubs for children aged 8-11 years old. Whilst selling her own ceramics on Etsy and attending Maker's fairs throughout the year.
