SCULPTURE PARK & ART GALLERY

Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens is a treasure trove of art and nature.

With over 120 original sculptures woven through our ancient woodland, lakeside paths and glades, one of the South East's most celebrated outdoor art experiences, included in every garden entry.

WHERE ART MEETS ANCIENT WOODLAND

Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens is one of the finest outdoor sculpture parks in England. In partnership with the Surrey Sculpture Society, the estate presents a year-round, ever-evolving collection across its Grade I listed gardens. Works by both established and emerging artists largely from Sussex and Surrey are placed naturally throughout the gardens, discovering them as you explore is all part of the experience.

A YEAR ROUND ART WALK

Over 120 sculptures are strategically located across the 240-acre estate. There's always something new to discover, whatever the season.

THE SCULPTORS BEHIND THE GARDENS

The collection draws from over 250 members of the Surrey Sculpture Society, a mix of professionals and emerging talent working in bronze, resin, glass, metal, wood, stone and ceramic.

The Surrey Sculpture Society's collection has been artfully situated throughout the gardens, showcasing local artists mainly from Sussex and Surrey. The walk takes full advantage of the setting, with diverse trees and shrubs, beautiful flowers and eight lakes.

As well as an outdoor exhibition trail, there are indoor exhibits in Leonardslee House and the Garden Shop Gallery.

COMING THIS WINTER | LEONARDSLEE LIGHTS 2026

Each winter, the sculptures transforms into something extraordinary. As dusk falls over the valley and lakes, a select few of the Surrey Sculpture Society's works are illuminated as part of Leonardslee Lights, now in its sixth year and Sussex's most spectacular after-dark garden experience. Familiar pieces take on an entirely new character by night.

Sculpture is part of a wider multi-sensory trail with light installations, ethereal soundscapes and large-scale art.
