Following a series of sold-out sessions in 2024, we’re thrilled to welcome Zoe from Bouquet Bakes back to Leonardslee for another season of inspiring cupcake decorating workshops.
Whether you're just starting out, love to bake for fun, or have some experience under your belt, these hands-on workshops are a fantastic way to learn new skills, boost your confidence, and get creative with buttercream.
Each session is packed with expert tips and plenty of guidance as you learn to pipe beautiful floral and foliage designs using specialist nozzles. You’ll leave with a box of your own decorated cupcakes to wow friends and family – and of course, enjoy yourself!

All cupcakes will be freshly baked and ready for you to decorate. Just bring your enthusiasm and an apron (things can get a little messy) – everything else is provided. Spaces are limited and tend to go quickly, so early booking is recommended!

Buttercream Blooms: Intermediate Floral Cupcake Decorating Workshop

This workshop is perfect for those who’ve dabbled in buttercream decorating and are ready to explore more advanced floral techniques.
We’ll focus on creating realistic, textured flowers using rich colours and professional piping methods. With guided instruction, you’ll learn how to pipe the following stunning blooms:
Peony – full and elegant
Daffodil – bright and dimensional
Chrysanthemum – layered and detailed
Scabiosa – delicate with a bold centre
Mini tulip garden – a charming cluster

This class is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience. With expert guidance every step of the way, you’ll master a variety of floral designs and bouquet assembly, all in a fun and welcoming setting.

About Bouquet Bakes
I'm Zoe and I love to create beautiful floral cupcakes and bespoke celebration cakes for special occasions. I have always loved baking and after redundancy it seemed like the perfect time to focus on Bouquet Bakes. All my cakes are made using free range eggs and the finest ingredients and every care and attention to detail is given to all my cakes.
After being asked on several occasions if I could share my knowledge on creating the buttercream flowers I decided to put on workshops to teach others this enjoyable skill, it is a mindful and fun way to create this edible art, and I love being able to help people create their own beautiful cakes to share with their own friends and family.
