Following a series of sold-out sessions in 2025, we’re thrilled to welcome Zoe from Bouquet Bakes back to Leonardslee for another season of inspiring cupcake decorating workshops.

Whether you're just starting out, love to bake for fun, or have some experience under your belt, these hands-on workshops are a fantastic way to learn new skills, boost your confidence, and get creative with buttercream.

Each session is packed with expert tips and plenty of guidance as you learn to pipe beautiful floral and foliage designs using specialist nozzles. You’ll leave with a box of your own decorated cupcakes to wow friends and family – and of course, enjoy yourself!

All cupcakes will be freshly baked and ready for you to decorate. Just bring your enthusiasm and an apron (things can get a little messy) – everything else is provided.

Spaces are limited and tend to go quickly, so early booking is recommended!

Buttercream Flower Basics: Floral Cupcake Workshop 

18 January | 10:30 - 13:00

Join Zoe for a relaxed buttercream flower workshop suitable for both beginners and those with some decorating experience.

During the session, participants will learn how to pipe a variety of floral designs, including the rose swirl, hydrangea, tulip, sunflower, dahlia and a trio of daisies. Each technique is taught step by step to help build confidence throughout the workshop.

Zoe will provide six freshly baked cupcakes per person, along with all tools, buttercream and materials required. Participants simply need to bring an apron.

Refreshments will be available, and everyone will take home a box of their decorated cupcakes at the end.

It’s a welcoming, enjoyable workshop where guests can learn new skills and spend some peaceful time being creative.

Floral Cupcake & Bouquet-Making Workshop 

27 February |10:30 – 13:00  

Perfect for individuals, friends or as a thoughtful gift idea. Enjoy a relaxed and creative morning at Leonardslee as you learn to pipe and arrange your own edible bouquet.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll decorate seven stunning floral cupcakes using a range of buttercream piping techniques, then bring them all together to form a beautiful, gift-worthy cupcake bouquet.

This class is ideal for beginners and those with a little experience. With expert guidance every step of the way, you’ll master a variety of floral designs and bouquet assembly, all in a fun and welcoming setting.

All tools, piping tips and materials are provided, with step-by-step tuition throughout - participants just need to bring an apron. You’ll leave with a handcrafted cupcake bouquet to take home and enjoy.

Zoe is the creator behind Bouquet Bakes and has spent many years perfecting the art of baking and floral buttercream design. She specialises in crafting beautiful floral cupcakes and bespoke celebration cakes, always made with the finest ingredients and meticulous attention to detail.

After years of people asking how she creates her signature buttercream flowers, Zoe began running workshops to share her techniques. Her sessions offer a warm, mindful and genuinely enjoyable way to learn the skill of transforming simple cupcakes into stunning edible art.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some piping experience, you’ll leave with the confidence to create your own beautiful floral cupcakes to share with friends and family.
