You will be taken through the different types of waxes and a little bit of the science behind candle making.

Candle Making Workshop: Votive Set
20 July | 10:30 - 12:30
Escape to the warmth of summer with our 2-hour Votive Candle Making Workshop! Craft 3 of your own scented candles as reminders of sun-kissed days, balmy ocean breezes, and al fresco dining. Once you have chosen your fragrances from the seasonal selection stated below, you will wick your vessels and blend your fragrance then pour 3 of your own votive candles. These candles will burn for approximately 10 hours each.
While your candles are setting, you can enjoy some refreshments and customize your gift box. You will be able to take home your own custom-made candles to enjoy. You will decorate the box with printed belly bands, ribbons and sprigs of Lavender or other fresh blossoms.

About Wax & Willow
Wax and Willow is a small, independent business created by Ursula Stockley, a passionate candle maker with a love of all things natural and beautiful.
She has always enjoyed filling her home with beautiful fragrance, and one day decided to take the plunge to learn the art of candle making. After taking classes with an Australian chandler, she began the process of making, experimenting and testing to refine her products until she was confident that she had created a truly exceptional candle range.
Being featured in House and Garden magazine and making exclusive ranges for companies as well as selling her products at various outlets.
Ursulas candles are all hand made by herself with the finest natural ingredients including soy wax and highest cosmetic grade Fragrance oils. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and free of harmful chemicals. Offering a line of reed diffusers and room mists, all made with the same high-quality ingredients.
Loving the feeling of calm and peace that comes over you when making candles, enjoying the room fills with the scent of beautiful florals, woodland walks, or the spiciness of Christmas. Ursula would love to share that feeling with you.
Ursula offers fun and relaxed candle making workshops where you can create your own candles from a selection of seasonal scents. You'll have something to enjoy at home, and you'll also learn a new skill.
