Embrace the season with our Festive Fragrances candle making workshop, a two-hour experience designed to help you slow down and reconnect with your creativity.
This festive workshop is the perfect holiday self-spoil or an opportunity to hand-craft deeply personal gifts for loved ones. Set within a warm, festive atmosphere, you’ll learn to work with natural wax and seasonal botanicals to create a beautiful, aromatic collection for the home.
Guided by expert chandler Ursula of Wax & Willow, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of candle making, including wax selection and fragrance blending, before creating a set of handcrafted pieces to take home.
What You’ll Create & Take Home
During the workshop, you’ll craft:
Three handmade natural soy wax votive candles, learning the art of pouring to create a warm, flickering glow perfect for festive tablescapes
Two scented botanical wax tablets, intricately decorated with dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise, ideal for scenting wardrobes, hanging on a tree, or gifting as keepsakes
You’ll choose from a curated seasonal scent palette, ranging from the crisp notes of pine needles and frosted berries to the warming aromas of spiced orange and frankincense.
Your finished pieces will be beautifully presented with festive gift boxes, ribbons, and tags, ready to place straight under the tree or keep for yourself.

About Wax & Willow
Wax and Willow is a small, independent business created by Ursula Stockley, a passionate candle maker with a love of all things natural and beautiful.
She has always enjoyed filling her home with beautiful fragrance, and one day decided to take the plunge to learn the art of candle making. After taking classes with an Australian chandler, she began the process of making, experimenting and testing to refine her products until she was confident that she had created a truly exceptional candle range.
Being featured in House and Garden magazine and making exclusive ranges for companies as well as selling her products at various outlets.
Ursula’s candles are all hand made by herself with the finest natural ingredients including soy wax and highest cosmetic grade Fragrance oils. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and free of harmful chemicals. Offering a line of reed diffusers and room mists, all made with the same high-quality ingredients.
