Embrace the season with our Festive Fragrances candle making workshop a two-hour experience designed to help you slow down and reconnect with your creativity.
Guided by expert chandler Ursula of Wax & Willow, you'll craft three votive candles to take home, choosing from a range of inviting seasonal scents:
Spiced Winter – cinnamon, clove, and orange, reminiscent of festive baking and mulled wine
Frozen Forest – pine needles, frosted berries, and crisp winter air
Cosy Fireplace – smoky warmth with hints of spice and soft vanilla
You’ll learn the fundamentals of candle making from Ursula of Wax & Willow, including wax selection and fragrance blending, and leave with handcrafted candles to enjoy or gift.

About Wax & Willow
Wax and Willow is a small, independent business created by Ursula Stockley, a passionate candle maker with a love of all things natural and beautiful.
She has always enjoyed filling her home with beautiful fragrance, and one day decided to take the plunge to learn the art of candle making. After taking classes with an Australian chandler, she began the process of making, experimenting and testing to refine her products until she was confident that she had created a truly exceptional candle range.
Being featured in House and Garden magazine and making exclusive ranges for companies as well as selling her products at various outlets.
Ursula’s candles are all hand made by herself with the finest natural ingredients including soy wax and highest cosmetic grade Fragrance oils. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and free of harmful chemicals. Offering a line of reed diffusers and room mists, all made with the same high-quality ingredients.
Loving the feeling of calm and peace that comes over you when making candles, enjoying the room fills with the scent of beautiful florals, woodland walks, or the spiciness of Christmas. Ursula would love to share that feeling with you.
Ursula offers fun and relaxed candle making workshops where you can create your own candles from a selection of seasonal scents. You'll have something to enjoy at home, and you'll also learn a new skill.
