A spellbinding Halloween adventure awaits...
A mysterious quest begins in the gardens this October and throughout half-term. Young alchemists are invited to collect their Alchemist's Activity Book before setting off on a self-led journey through Leonardslee's beautiful autumn gardens.
Along the way, you'll solve magical riddles, uncover hidden letters, tackle a fun obstacle course and complete their activity book using stickers. With every challenge completed, they'll move one step closer to unlocking the cauldron's secret, earning the prestigious Potion Master title and receiving a mysterious prize.

Free Halloween Crafts

Once you have completed the trail, visit The Studio to enjoy free drop-in Halloween craft activities.
Children can colour in magical Halloween-themed activity sheet or design their very own Potion Master bookmark to take home, the perfect keepsake from their autumn adventure.
Both crafts are self-led and available throughout the day, making them an ideal way to enjoy a quiet creative moment before or after exploring the gardens.

Spooky Silent Disco
Get ready for a Halloween party like no other! Step into The Courtyard at Leonardslee for a Spooky Silent Disco filled with glowing lights, three DJs, and all your favourite Halloween hits.

Step into a world of adventure at our vast 2,500m² play park, where endless fun awaits children of all ages. Parents can enjoy a day of exploration, creativity, and memorable moments shared with their little ones.

Every visit brings something new to discover and as a Leonardslee member enjoy unlimited adventures all year long across 240 acres of stunning lakes, woodlands, and wildlife.
Make the most of every visit with a Family Membership, designed to fit around you. Each time you visit, you can bring up to three children aged 2–16, and they don’t need to be named in advance.

As a historic garden, some paths are uneven and may become slippery in wet weather.
