Hand-painted Christmas Card Workshop

Create your own bespoke hand-painted Christmas cards with your host Jessica in the Courtyard Café.
In this workshop, Jessica will teach you how to create your own brush and show you how to use different brush techniques in a variety of paint colours, exploring the three ism’s of art: Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism and Pointillism, to create a final finished piece for the perfect Christmas craft!
We’ll focus on trees as the subject matter, so get ready to explore three different styles of painting!
This workshop is suitable for all levels.

About Jessica
Jessica has a degree in Fine Art, City and Guilds Basic Pottery. She is a member of the Association for Art History, and very vaguely related to J.M.W. Turner. Jessica has always drawn and been creative and had the idea of teaching for a while and now Jessica feels so proud she can now finally be able to do it and inspire other people to try new techniques and build their confidence.
