Pause & Bloom: A Relaxed Floral Painting Workshop
5 July | 11:00 - 14:00
Paint & Bloom is a gentle, joy-filled creative workshop designed to help you slow down, reconnect with nature and create without pressure.
Set within The Studio, in a calm, garden-inspired setting, and around a shared table, you’ll be surrounded by flowers and simple materials as you’re guided through a relaxed process of drawing, mark-making and intuitive painting. We’ll begin by observing and sketching natural forms, before gradually layering colour, texture and expressive marks, allowing each piece to evolve organically.
This is not about being “good” at art. It’s about giving yourself permission to play.
Throughout the session, you’ll be invited to move around the table, shift perspectives and let go of expectations. There are no rules, no right or wrong outcomes- just space to pause, experiment and enjoy the creative process.
Whether you haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, or you’re simply craving a creative reset, this workshop offers a supportive and welcoming environment to begin again.
You’ll leave with your own expressive, floral-inspired artwork, a sense of calm and creative reconnection and the reminder that creativity is always there, waiting for you.
Please note: Aprons will be provided as acrylic inks will be used. One painting will be created per participant during the workshop.

About Pause & Bloom
Danielle Jackson is a mixed media artist whose work explores growth, identity, and the beauty of becoming. Through vibrant layers of paint, collage, and botanical forms, she creates expressive floral abstractions that celebrate resilience and the quiet power of starting again.
After stepping away from art for over two decades while raising her family, Danielle returned to painting in the in-between moments of everyday life. What began at a kitchen table has grown into a deeply personal and evolving practice, one rooted not in perfection, but in presence, play, and self-connection.
Her work invites others to reconnect with their own creativity without pressure or expectation. Inspired by nature and the idea that we can bloom wherever we are, Danielle creates spaces where people can pause, explore, and gently rediscover themselves through art.
Paint & Bloom is an extension of this ethos, a welcoming, relaxed workshop designed for those who may feel unsure, out of practice, or simply in need of a moment to create. No experience is needed, just a willingness to begin.
