From circus skills and storytelling to creative crafts and animal encounters, discover something different each week. Simply visit the gardens, drop into the day's free activity and enjoy a little something extra as part of your family day out.

Drop-in Circus Workshops with Circus All Stars
5 August | Two drop-in circus skills sessions taking place between 10:00 and 16:00 | Leonardslee House Lawn
Drop in and discover exciting circus skills with Circus All Stars. Suitable for all ages, it's a fun way to add a little extra excitement to your visit.
Crafts & Storytelling with Junk Jodie
12 August | Two 25-minute performances and drop in crafts between 10:00-16:00 | The Courtyard
Join award-winning storyteller Junk Jodie for eco-inspired storytelling and make-and-take recycled crafts. Create your own woodland puppet before enjoying one of two Wild-ERFUL Warriors storytelling shows.
Suitable for ages 3–8 (older and younger children are welcome) | Please note that recycled craft materials may have previously come into contact with allergen products.
Summer Craft Activities with Make, Do & Trend
19 August | 10:00-15:00 | The Courtyard
Get creative with Make, Do & Trend and enjoy colourful drop-in summer crafts with plenty to make and take home.
Suitable for ages 18 months – 11 years
Animal Encounters with Reptylers
26 August | 10:00-15:00 | The Courtyard
Meet an amazing collection of reptiles, mammals and fascinating creatures with Reptylers including snakes, meerkats, geckos, a skunk, tarantula and giant African land snails.
Suitable for all ages.

Summer Family Fun activities are included with standard garden admission and are free for Leonardslee members.
Non-members can save on entry tickets by booking online at least 48 hours in advance.
Explore the gardens, enjoy the day's activity and make the most of a summer family day out. There's no need to book a separate activity ticket. Food and drink are available from our cafés throughout the day.
Activities are available on a drop-in, first come, first served basis and may be subject to change due to weather, capacity, safety or operational requirements. Suppliers, timings and locations may also change. Usual garden entry terms and conditions apply.
