This February Half-Term, enjoy our FREE Winter Wildlife Activity Trail, exploring the winter gardens and discovering the wildlife that calls Leonardslee home. Included with Garden Entry and free for Leonardslee Members.
Design your own detective backpack for the chance to win a one-year Leonardslee Family Membership. See competition details below.
Collect your activity booklet from Reception on arrival, then follow the trail map to six wildlife stops around the gardens. Along the way, uncover mysterious footprints, match them to the correct animal and discover fascinating facts about how wildlife adapts to the colder months.
Keep your eyes peeled for clues as you make your way around the gardens and see if you can solve every wildlife mystery!
When you’re finished, stop off at The Clocktower Kitchen for something to eat and drink while your mini artists get creative and design their own detective backpack in their activity booklet.

Enter Our Competition
To enter, complete your detective backpack design in your activity booklet, then hand in your completed design at the Garden Shop or The Clocktower Kitchen for the chance to win a prize. Voting will take place on our social media platforms.
First Place: A one-year Leonardslee Family Membership, or renewal of an existing family membership.
Second Place: Tickets to The Labyrinth Challenge or Leonardslee Lights in 2027.
