Follow the Swallow: Discover the story through the wines
Every wine tasting is more memorable when there is a story attached to the glass. At Leonardslee, the swallow has become a familiar part of the wine identity, and this autumn it leads somewhere new: The Drawing Room at Leonardslee House.
Tale of the Swallow is a one-hour tutored tasting created as an introduction to Leonardslee Family Vineyards. Guests will taste four English sparkling wines while learning more about the brand, the estate and the thinking behind the wines.
The experience is guided by the Leonardslee wine team and designed to help you understand what you are tasting, what makes each wine different and how the wider estate fits into the story.
The tasting takes place in the newly reimagined Drawing Room at Leonardslee House. The setting matters. This is not a standalone tasting counter detached from the rest of a visit. Your £45 ticket includes full-day garden entry, so the wine experience can sit within a longer day at Leonardslee.
You might start with a walk through the gardens, arrive at the House for the 13:00 tasting and then continue exploring afterwards. Or make the tasting the focal point and build lunch, a garden walk and time at the estate around it.
For guests who discover a favourite wine during the tasting, a qualifying case purchase can make the Tale of the Swallow tasting complimentary, subject to the confirmed offer terms.
Tale of the Swallow runs daily at 13:00 and lasts approximately one hour. Pre-booking is required, and garden entry for the full day is included.
