Sculpture of the Year Competition

A unique celebration of creativity as we showcase the work of talented sculptors set within the breathtaking landscape of Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens. Wander the grounds, immerse yourself in the dialogue between art and nature, and help crown the Sculpture of the Year

The winner will be announced on the 8 October a momentous occasion in our ongoing collaboration with the Surrey Sculpture Society, whose year-round exhibition brings the gardens to life with creativity and imagination. Visitors are treated to a vibrant open-air gallery, featuring over 100 captivating sculptures by more than 40 local artists, beautifully positioned throughout the historic woodland and lakeside pathways.

The Sculpture trail, which weaves its way through Leonardslee’s Lakes & Gardens enchanting 240-acre estate, highlights the unique connection between contemporary art and nature. From bronze to glass, stone to steel, every piece is thoughtfully placed to enhance both the landscape and the viewer's experience.

Whether it’s a striking abstract or a delicate figurative form, these artworks spark curiosity, inspire conversation, and encourage reflection. All pieces are also available for purchase, perfect for adding to your home or garden.
