Calling all budding photographers, enthusiasts and nature lovers! We invite you to take part in our Spring Photography Competition.

There is something magical about capturing nature as the colours start to get brighter as the weather gets warmer. If you are starting out in photography, a seasoned pro or just love getting out and capturing nature then why not enter?

We are looking to capture the essence of spring within the gardens during this beautiful season. Can you capture the beauty in the stillness? Make the vibrant spring colours come to life? Or catch a glimpse of our animal friends as they explore the estate?

Those that come 2nd and 3rd will receive 2X tickets to one of the events listed above and 1X bottle of wine.

Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens Spring Photography Competition
1. This Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens spring photography competition is organised and conducted by Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.
2. This competition starts on 20 March 2024 Entries close on 20 June 2024. Top finalists photography will be displayed at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens during a to be determined time. Entries received after the closing date may not be considered.
Who Can Enter?
3. Participants must be 18 years or older (or if a minor, must be duly assisted by their legal guardians)
4. Participants may not enter or receive a prize if they are directors, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.
5. By entering this competition, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and allow for Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens to use images for marketing or promotions with the consideration of credit given to said participant.

Prize:
6. Prize consists of a case of Benguela Cove wine and a single year’s membership to Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens and 2x tickets to wither Leonardslee Comedy Club, the Labyrith Challenge, Open-air Cinema or Leonardslee Lates. Those that come 2nd and 3nd will receive 2x tickets to one of the events listed above and 1x bottle of wine. If the participant is already a member the membership year will be added to their existing membership.
7. The prize may not be exchanged for cash or other items to the same value.
Publicity and Data Privacy:
8. By entering, a participant acknowledges that personal information about the participant will be shared with Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens and for prizes to be delivered to prize winners.
9. All personal information relating to the participants will be used solely in accordance with GDPR.
General:
Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens reserve the right to shorten, extend, suspend the time period of the Competition or terminate the Competition whenever it should so choose for technical, commercial, or operational reasons, or for reasons beyond its control or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion. The competition, its prizes, and terms and conditions may be amended by Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens, at any time during the competition, and will be applied and interpreted within their sole discretion. In such an event, all participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this competition, and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens whatsoever.
10. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.
11. Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens are not liable for any technical failures affecting participation in the campaign and they assume no liability in this regard.
12. Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens will not be liable for any loss suffered as a result of incomplete or incorrect information provided.
Note: a condition of entry is that the photographer of a submitted digital image grants permission to Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens to use the high-res digital image and to print, copy, publish, distribute or exhibit the image.
The photographer of a submitted image waives any right to payment, royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. For its part, Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens will seek to ensure that the image is attributed to the photographer, by displaying the photographer’s name where the image is used. It is accepted that this may not always be possible to achieve when the image is printed or used by a third party for example.
