Sculpture of the Year Competition
Where art meets the landscape.
This October, Sculpture of the Year returns to Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens, bringing together talented sculptors and their work in one of the most beautiful settings in Sussex.
Set across our 240-acre Grade I Listed estate, the sculptures across the gardens creates a unique conversation between art and nature. Wander through historic woodland, beside tranquil lakes and along winding pathways, discovering striking works that have been thoughtfully placed throughout the landscape.
In partnership with the Surrey Sculpture Society, Leonardslee is home to an ever-changing outdoor gallery, showcasing more than 120 sculptures by over 60 established and emerging artists. From bronze and glass to stone, steel and ceramic, each piece brings its own character to the gardens and offers a new perspective on the landscape around it.
