LEONARDSLEE HOUSE

 

Nestled in the heart of West Sussex, the breathtaking and serene historic 19th-century Italianate style house sits on top of a valley with a panoramic view of the gardens. Built in 1855, Leonardslee house is one of the most beautiful homes in the county. 

The enchanting and romantic Grade II listed house is set in a secluded, yet convenient location close to Gatwick airport and near the beautiful town of Horsham. 

With 10 bespoke charming bedrooms with their own individual decor and en-suite bathrooms.  

We are now open to reservations by telephone or email daily from 8:30 - 16:30

Many people in the local area have fond memories of their visits and life around these gardens, and we aim to protect this magnificent heritage so that future generations get to enjoy these beautiful green spaces and flora and fauna within.

RESTAURANT INTERLUDE

Our Michelin Starred restaurant welcomes you to enjoy a guided menu by what is available in our garden, we strive to build our pantry through the patients of harvesting and preservation. Take food back to basics and showcase old traditions where possible.

Experience a tasting of our award-winning wines from our sister estate in South Africa. The vineyard sits amongst our Grade I listed gardens and is surrounded by breathtaking views of the valley, Leonardslee House and the South Downs.

HOW TO GET TO LEONARDSLEE HOUSE

 
 

 BY CAR

From the M23/A23: 

Head South on the M23/A23 and take the exit signposted Handcross, follow the B2110 through Lower Beeding,  

at the end of the road turn left. The entrance is immediately on your left.  

From Horsham: 

Head South out of Horsham and follow the A281 for approximately 10 minutes, the entrance is on your left.  

From Cowfold: 

Head North on the A281 through Crabtree, the entrance is on your right at the top of the hill. 

BY COACH:

Number 17 runs between Horsham Railway Station & Brighton and stops outside Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.

BY TRAIN:

Nearest train station is Horsham, with trains from London Victoria and Clapham Junction.
